Volleyball Recap: Bonneville Victorious

Bonneville proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Taylorsville Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lakers have posted since September 27, 2024.

Bonneville was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-14, 22-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Bonneville's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Taylorsville, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Bonneville will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Ogden at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taylorsville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cedar Valley at 6:30 p.m. on the 19th.
