Soccer Recap: Shelley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Shelley and Pocatello, and Pocatello kept the tradition alive. The Russets fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Shelley couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Miguel Chavez, who's now up to four this season.

Shelley suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 2-2. As for Pocatello, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Coming up, Shelley will challenge Idaho Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give Shelley their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Pocatello, they will face off against Rigby at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
