Softball Game Preview: Forreston Cardinals vs. Pearl City Wolves

The Forreston Cardinals will square off against the Pearl City Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Forreston and three for Pearl City.

Forreston lost 11-1 to Orion on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Pearl City suffered their biggest loss since March 29th on Tuesday. They came up short against Durand, falling 15-6.

Jorja Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. Scarlett Snyder was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Pearl City's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Forreston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-21.

Forreston was able to grind out a solid win over Pearl City in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, winning 7-3. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
