Football Game Recap: Alleghany vs. Covington

Covington fell to Alleghany 20-24 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Covington blew past Alleghany 28-7. Covington was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Covington a 1-0 record and starting Alleghany off at 0-1.

Next week, Covington take on Glenvar at Glenvar High School at 7:00 PM. As for Alleghany, they will face of against Rockbridge County.
