Baseball Recap: Tipton Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Varsity Opponent

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Tipton Christian Academy and Varsity Opponent, and Tipton Christian Academy kept the tradition alive. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over Varsity Opponent on Monday. The Eagles not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10th (when they won 19-0).

Aiden Gray was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Luke Wright also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Tipton Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-18-1.

Varsity Opponent has already played their next match (against Lake Norman Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tipton Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's contest: after Varsity Opponent face off against the Lions, they'll take on Tipton Christian Academy again at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
