Softball Recap: Alhambra Moors vs. Bell Gardens Lancers
Alhambra lost against Bell Gardens back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Alhambra fell 17-12 to Bell Gardens. The Moors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Sofia Audelos was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Alyssa Salazar also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Audelos wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Alhambra kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.
