Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Jayman Mintz stepped things up a notch to give Glencoe the 'W'. Mintz threw for 109 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. His passing game has become a key predictor of Glencoe's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise.

Coming up, Mintz and Glencoe will look to defend their home field on Friday against Saks at 7:00 p.m. The last time Mintz duked it out with the Wildcats (back in October of 2024), the Yellowjackets came out on top by a score of 32-28.
