Springville has gone 9-1 against Payson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Devils will head out to square off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 21 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Springville and three for Payson.

Springville lost 3-0 to Salem Hills on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Payson came up short against Maple Mountain on Thursday and fell 3-1. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Golden Eagles 25-21 in the first set.

Payson started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-19.

Payson now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Springville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-20.

Springville suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Payson in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
