Volleyball Game Preview: Hall Titans vs. New Britain Golden Hurricanes

Hall hasn't had much luck against New Britain recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Titans will host the Golden Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hall took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past Cheshire 3-2.

Hall was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 20-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Meanwhile, New Britain came tearing into Wednesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bobcats.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 19-25, 25-14.

The win got Hall back to even at 3-3. As for New Britain, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
