Baseball Game Preview: South Houston Trojans vs. Shadow Creek Sharks

For the second straight game, South Houston will face off against Shadow Creek. The Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Sharks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Houston has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 11.

South Houston came up short against Shadow Creek on Tuesday, falling 18-3.

Braden Mayberry made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Shadow Creek is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for South Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-20.
