Softball Recap: Knight Comes Up Short

Highland hit Knight with a eight-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hawks might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-0 to the Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 12-3 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Knight now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Highland, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Knight will challenge rival Lancaster at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Highland is set to square off against their familiar foe Antelope Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
