Basketball Preview: Jordan Falcons vs. East Wake Warriors
The Jordan Falcons will be taking part in a tournament against the East Wake Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Jordan saw some tournament action on Friday. They blew past Wakefield 60-38. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jordan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julian Lowe, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points. What's more, Lowe also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Rivers Knight, who posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and four blocks.
Meanwhile, East Wake came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 victory over Orange on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while the Panthers are ranked 67th).
Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for East Wake, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.
