Baseball Recap: Garrard County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Casey County on Friday, Garrard County came back down to earth. The Golden Lions fell 4-0 to the Danville Admirals on Tuesday. The Golden Lions haven't had much luck with the Admirals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Garrard County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Danville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

While Garrard County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
