Bear Creek is a perfect 10-0 against McNair since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bruins will head out to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bear Creek has ten straight victories, McNair has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Thursday, Bear Creek beat Stagg 6-2.

Natalie Trujillo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bear Creek's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Amiyah Owens, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple was Owens' first of the season.

Meanwhile, McNair came up short against Edison on Thursday, falling 20-13. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly seven runs.

Naohmi Tapia and Emerald Gerardo did some serious damage despite the final result: Tapia scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Gerardo scored two runs while getting on base in two of her five plate appearances.

McNair's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bear Creek, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bear Creek has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .477. However, it's not like McNair struggles in that department as they've averaged .441. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Bear Creek took their win against McNair in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
