Basketball Recap: Cardinal Mooney Catholic Takes a Loss

Cardinal Mooney Catholic lost against Oakland Christian back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinal Mooney Catholic Cardinals were outmatched by the Oakland Christian Lancers and fell 67-12. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 598th, while the Lancers are ranked 284th).

Cardinal Mooney Catholic dropped their record down to 10-14 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Oakland Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
