Basketball Game Preview: Mater Academy Narcoossee Spartans vs. Orlando Science Orcas

The Mater Academy Narcoossee Spartans will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Orlando Science Orcas at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Mater Academy Narcoossee came up short against Pinecrest Lakes Prep and fell 58-48.

Despite the defeat, Mater Academy Narcoossee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ibrahim Abdullah went 10-for-17 to rack up 22 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Pedro Salicrup, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orlando Science). They came out on top against Pinecrest Lakes Prep by a score of 48-37 on Friday.

Mater Academy Narcoossee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Orlando Science, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
