Baseball Recap: Sibley-Ocheyedan Comes Up Short

Sibley-Ocheyedan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Dutchmen when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sibley-Ocheyedan's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Sibley-Ocheyedan will challenge Sioux Center at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Generals' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley on the 6th.
