Volleyball Recap: Ellis Railroaders vs. Stockton Tigers
Ellis lost against Stockton on October 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ellis Railroaders fell just short of the Stockton Tigers by a score of 2-1.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Ellis sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 23-25, 25-23.
Natalee North paced Ellis' offense, picking up 15 kills. North got some help from
Addison Kohl and her 30 assists.
Ellis has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-15 record this season. As for Stockton, their victory bumped their record up to 23-14.
Ellis will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against St. Francis at 2:00 p.m. Stockton has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lakeside on the 22nd.
