Basketball Recap: Evergreen Christian Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Evergreen Christian took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clinton Grace Christian. If Evergreen Christian was looking for revenge after losing 53-35 to Clinton Grace Christian when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Loss or not, Evergreen Christian got some senior leadership from Cam Bullett and Cam Hackney. Bullett dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards, while Hackney posted 11 points.

Evergreen Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Clinton Grace Christian, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Evergreen Christian will challenge Christ Chapel Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Clinton Grace Christian, they will take on St. Mary's Ryken at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
