Softball Recap: Glenbrook South Comes Up Short

Glenbrook South managed to slip by Glenbrook North the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans lost 12-2 to the Spartans on Thursday. The Titans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Glenbrook South saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leona Tamul, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was Tamul's first of the season.

Glenbrook South's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Glenbrook North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-12.

Coming up, Glenbrook South will host New Trier at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenbrook North, they will head out on the road to square off against Elmwood Park at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
