Soccer Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Trimble Tech Bulldogs, falling 5-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Polytechnic of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Trimble Tech, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Polytechnic will square off against rival Arlington Heights at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Trimble Tech is set to face off against their familiar foe South Hills at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
