Thibodaux pushed their score to nine the last time they played Fisher, but on Wednesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Thibodaux Tigers never let the Fisher Gators get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 14-9 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win made it two in a row for Thibodaux and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs over those games. As for Fisher, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thibodaux will challenge A.J. Ellender at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fisher will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thomas Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on March 11th.
