After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brandeis, Manhattan Center for Science & Math was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They claimed a resounding 64-31 win over Roosevelt. This was payback for the Rams, who suffered a 46-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Manhattan Center for Science & Math's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1. As for Roosevelt, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.
