There's no place like home for Brownstown/St. Elmo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Martinsville Bluestreaks on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brownstown/St. Elmo was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Macey Sapp, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven contests.

Despite the loss, Martinsville still got an impressive performance from Harper Baird, who had 14 digs and one assist.

Brownstown/St. Elmo's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Martinsville, they dropped their record down to 15-15 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Brownstown/St. Elmo and Martinsville will both be playing Mulberry Grove the next time they take the court. The Bluestreaks will head out to face the Aces at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
