Baseball Recap: Millard Drops Season-High Score on North Sevier

Millard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Sevier Wolves. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Bodie Memmott made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those hits were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rayce Adams, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Millard always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .560. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Millard's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Sevier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Coincidentally, Millard and North Sevier will both be playing Gunnison Valley the next time they take the field. Millard will head out to face Gunnison Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, while North Sevier will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
