Basketball Recap: Central Florida Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Central Florida Christian Academy extended their postseason success on Monday against Zephyrhills Christian Academy. They blew past the Zephyrhills Christian Academy Warriors 65-45. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly 20 points.

Julian DeClou was his usual excellent self, going 8-for-14 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Storr, who posted ten points and three steals.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Central Florida Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 21-8. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.

Coming up, Central Florida Christian Academy will take on North Tampa Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Tampa Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Central Florida Christian Academy likes a good challenge. Zephyrhills Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
