Basketball Recap: Peachtree Ridge Comes Up Short

Peachtree Ridge managed to slip by Alexander the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 73-50 to the Cougars on Saturday.

Alexander's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Torian Greene, who shot 78% from the field to rack up 17 points. Those 17 points gave Greene a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Christian Moore, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 15 points.

Peachtree Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Peachtree Ridge will take on Central Gwinnett at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Alexander, they will challenge Cherokee at 6:20 p.m. on Saturday.
