Basketball Recap: Kress Skates Past Springlake-Earth with Ease

Kress hadn't done well against Springlake-Earth recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Kress Kangaroos breezed by the Springlake-Earth Wolverines to the tune of 53-16. The Kangaroos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 21 points or more this season.

With the victory, Kress broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 19-9. As for Springlake-Earth, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lazbuddie the next time they take the court. Kress will host Lazbuddie at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Springlake-Earth will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
