Soccer Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Horizon was not quite Fairview's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Horizon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Fairview are ranked eighth).

Horizon has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-1 record this season. As for Fairview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3-3.

As of now, neither Horizon nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
