Basketball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Sandwich's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Sandwich unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orion Chargers.

Sandwich's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Orion, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing St. Bede the next time they take the court. Sandwich will head out to face St. Bede at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while Orion will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
