It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Aledo had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Birdville Hawks by a score of 7-4. The Bearcats are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

KYLEIGH PAWLAK was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. MARINA TAVERAS was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Aledo's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 30-3. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.7 runs. As for Birdville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 30-6.

As of now, neither Aledo nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
