Clay's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Peebles Indians 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Clay was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-17.

Laney Shepherd paced Clay's offense, picking up 14 kills. Shepherd got some help from Addie Willis and her 22 assists. Willis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Clay now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Peebles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Clay will host Symmes Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Peebles has already played their next contest (against Manchester), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
