Birmingham took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

Granada Hills Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Birmingham, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
