Ennis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 61-39 to the Jefferson Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 55-46 loss on February 6th.

Jefferson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyler Frydenlund led the charge by putting up nine points in addition to five boards and four steals. Those four steals gave Frydenlund a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyzer Zody, who went 5-for-7 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Ennis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Ennis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.9 points per game this season.
