Baseball Game Preview: Jasper Bulldogs vs. West Orange-Stark Mustangs

Jasper is on a seven-game streak of home losses, and West Orange-Stark a 16-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Jasper Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the West Orange-Stark Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville hit Jasper with a four-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 10-1 to the Bears.

Jasper saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Beatty, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, West Orange-Stark came up short against Silsbee on Thursday, falling 20-1.

West Orange-Stark's loss dropped their record down to 2-18-1. As for Jasper, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
