Tri-Valley waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies 15-4. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won nine games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Tri-Valley's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Elk Point-Jefferson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Tri-Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against Elk Point-Jefferson: the pair will be back at it again later today.
