Basketball Recap: Chaney Takes a Loss

Chaney suffered their closest loss since February 16, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Archbishop Hoban Knights by a score of 57-55. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Knights are ranked 17th).

Chaney's defeat dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Archbishop Hoban, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Chaney is headed away from home for the first time to square off against McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archbishop Hoban, they will square off against John F. Kennedy Catholic at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
