Baseball Game Preview: East Windsor Panthers vs. Suffield Wildcats

East Windsor is 1-7 against Suffield since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. East Windsor has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Canton hit East Windsor with a six-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Warriors, falling 14-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Windsor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Natitus, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Meanwhile, Suffield put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Bolton.

Suffield's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for East Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

East Windsor couldn't quite get it done against Suffield in their previous matchup back in May of 2022 as they fell 9-4. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
