Sunrise Mountain fell victim to Pahrump Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 13-0. The Miners' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Sunrise Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Pahrump Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunrise Mountain will challenge West Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Miners surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pahrump Valley, they will welcome Sports Leadership & Management at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
