Volleyball Recap: White Oak Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for White Oak, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mabank Panthers on Thursday. The Roughnecks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

White Oak not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mabank between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21.

White Oak now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Mabank, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

White Oak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cumby on the 21st. As for Mabank, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Greenville on the 23rd.
