Rocori proved they can win big  last Thursday (they won by three) and  on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Detroit Lakes Lakers, sneaking past  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Spartans have posted  since September 12th.
 Rocori took Detroit Lakes into a fifth set  where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 16-25, 20-25, 28-26,  15-11.
 Jessica Boos paced Rocori's offense, picking up 20 kills. Boos got some help from  Chloe Labine and her 28 assists. Finally,  Brynn Lommel kept Rocori's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.
 When it comes to explaining why Detroit Lakes lost, don't look at  Ella Ramsey. Despite the final result, she  had 16 assists and 12  digs. Ramsey is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 16 or more in each of the last five games she's  played.  Tenley Bement also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
Rocori has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record  this season. As for Detroit Lakes,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-11.
 Rocori has  already played their next  matchup (against Sauk Rapids-Rice), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Detroit Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-0  loss against Fergus Falls on the 2nd.
