Soccer Recap: Prairie Ridge Takes a Loss

Prairie Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dundee-Crown Chargers, falling 6-3. While losing is never fun, Prairie Ridge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while Dundee-Crown are ranked 31st).

Prairie Ridge now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for Dundee-Crown, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Prairie Ridge will venture away from home to square off against Crystal Lake South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dundee-Crown, they will challenge Round Lake at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
