Basketball Recap: Butler's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Butler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Clinton Cardinals, falling 59-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered against the Cardinals since December 4, 2017.

Butler's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-3. As for Clinton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Butler has already played their next game, a 58-42 defeat against Lincoln on the 10th. As for Clinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 48-45 loss against Wheatland on the 10th.
