Football Recap: Saratoga Comes Up Short

Saratoga made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Jefferson, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Falcons were not able to get on the board.

Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jefferson, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Saratoga will face off against El Camino at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Jefferson, they will look to defend their home field on the 10th against MacDonald at 7:00 p.m. The Condor's defense has only allowed 6.8 points per game this season, so the Grizzlies' offense will have their work cut out for them.
