            Legacy Christian Academy barely beat Emmanuel Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights were the clear victors by  a  13-3 margin over the Lions on Thursday. Considering the Knights have won three matches by more than nine  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Joshua King made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances with two  RBI and one  run.

 In other batting news,  David Cancino was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Legacy Christian Academy is undefeated when  Cancino posts two or  more  runs, but 2-5 otherwise.  Justin Harphant also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
The  win made it two in a row for Legacy Christian Academy and  bumps their season record up to 5-5. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-6.
 Coming up, Emmanuel Christian Academy will face off against Troy Christian at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1  runs per game  this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Legacy Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to Emmanuel Christian Academy's  contest: after Emmanuel Christian Academy faces off against Troy Christian, they'll take on Legacy Christian Academy again  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
