Soccer Recap: Cross Victorious

Cross proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Beaufort Academy Eagles 2-1.

Cooper Franklin and Cullen Franklin scored both of Cross' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Cross' record now sits at 8-1. As for Beaufort Academy, they moved to 8-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Cross and Beaufort Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Cross Schools see the pitch they'll take on Patrick Henry Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Beaufort Academy, their break will end when they face Community Bible Church Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
