Basketball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Sidney Yellowjackets 51-13. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-6.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Sidney, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Troy has already played their next game (against Fairborn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sidney will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Tippecanoe at 11:30 a.m.
