Recap: Chavez Eagles vs. San Fernando Tigers
The Chavez Eagles's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They secured a 54-49 W over San Fernando. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chavez also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the defeat, San Fernando saw an underclassman step up: Isaiah Cabrera scored 25 points. The matchup was Cabrera's third in a row with at least ten points. Victor Marin was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The win got Chavez back to even at 2-2. As for San Fernando, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Chavez won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Hollywood at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. San Fernando's road trip will continue as they head out to face Vaughn at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
