Baseball Recap: Pocomoke Comes Up Short

Pocomoke fell victim to Decatur and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 19-0 to the Seahawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since March 26th.

Pocomoke's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Decatur, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pocomoke will host Snow Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Decatur, they will welcome West Deptford at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Seahawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
