Comfort won the last time they faced Florence, and Tindall Ahrens did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bobcats/Deer were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Buffaloes on Saturday for which the team can thank Ahrens, who had 15 kills, 11 digs, two blocks, and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 11 times she's played.

Comfort never let Florence on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24, 25-11.

Comfort's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Savana Womble, who had 15 assists and six digs. Another player making a difference was Emily Hill, who had 12 assists and seven kills.

Comfort is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season. As for Florence, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-17.

Comfort wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Blanco on the 23rd. As for Florence, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Brady on the 23rd.
